Vincent's voice also reminded Mikka of the world around her and she too blushed a bit.
"Right, I need to finish." She said to no one. Embarrassed as she was, Mikka hoped that Cael wouldn't think her too forward as she headed back over to her work and the real world.

Vincent lead the way back upstream to the basket of clothing. He tried to ignore the blossoming love back there, but it was rather hard when Mikka had just done what she did to the young warrior. Instead of thinking about that now he turned and looked at the river who's water was flowing so freely along the pebbles.

Cael had started to follow Vincent when he heard the voice call his name. It was high pitched, like the voice of a child. Cael stopped and looked around, looking for the owner. There, coming down the path the trio originally came, was a young boy, a child, still calling Cael's name. Cael ran ahead quickly, past Vincent, to meet the boy.
OOC: Figured it is about time we did something more than just chores in this rp. If any of you have any ideas about where'd you like this to go, feel free to pm me or send me an im on aim/yahoo/msn/icq.

Mikka stopped and watch Cael run over. She wondered what the boy wanted but didn't want to intrude. So in hopes of catching a bit of what was going on, Mikka walked next to Vincent to catch up with Cael. But she hoped Cael would tell her. if not then she would just have to find out herself. And Mikka had her ways.

"Aidan," Cael began as he reached the boy, "what's wrong?" The boy was breathing heavily.
"The chief..calls for...the warriors," Aidan replied in between breaths. A worried look appeared on his face. Slowly, Cael turned his attention to Vincent. Only one thought was on his mind...What does father want with us?

Just as Mikka thought it involved the men, not her. She could tell from the way Cael looked at Vincent and not her.
"Cael, whats going on?" she asked as she apporached Cael and Aidan. "Is something wrong?"

"Aidan," Cael began, still looking at Vincent, "tell my father we're coming." The little boy nodded and ran off back the way he had come. Cael waited for a few minutes after the boy left. He then turned his attention to Mikka. "My father calls for us," he said, nodding towards Vincent, "as well as the rest of the warriors. Something is about to happen..." Cael thought for a moment, then shook his head. "We'll find out what that something is when we get there," he replied, eyes narrowed.

"Then let's get going," Mikka said gathering up her baskets. "If its that important we should get there right away." Cael had said nothing of her not going, though she knew what his words had meant. But she was going to include herself in anyway possible.

Vincent understood the urgency of this situation, and by the look in Cael's eyes he could tell it was ONLY warriors. With a strict look on his face Vincent put a hand on Mikka's shoulder and said, "No, go home...you're not needed there." With that he turned towards Cael. "Shall we go then?" He started to walk back towards the villiage, no use in wasting time.

Mikka scowled at Vincent's back. She'd show him. She was was not going to be left out. This wouldn't be the first time she listened in on secret affairs.
"I guess we can talk after, Cael" Mikka said heading off to her own home. First she would take the clothes home, then she'd find a good place to listen in on this meeting.

Cael nodded and looked at Mikka one last time. He then turned and followed Vincent. "What do you think this is about?" Cael asked, catching up with the elder.

"Your guess is as good as mine right now." Vincent looked towards the sky. As they walked he kept an ear out for anything out of place around them. Soon enough the two were back to the town and Vincent looked at Cael for the first time in a while.
"Is there anything you want before going there?" He couln't think of anything that one would want, but he might as well ask the younger warrior before they go to the meeting, although it would be rude to make the others wait...
(I'm thinking of playing another character a little bit later...a young girl...)

Mikka, once out of the others sight, ran back to the house. Her father was already gone, as she knew he would be. If there was a meeting, she was certain as an elder he'd be there. Her mother was out, as well, with her younger siblings. This made things easier for Mikka.
Trading her apron for her belt, Mikka smiled. Who did Vincent think he was anyway? She had been talking to Cael. Not that he had come to her defense, but she also hadn't given him any time to do so. Quickly, she tucked her knife, the one she used for cutting her meat and other things, in her belt. After that she was off. She made her way through the village, but making sure no one saw her as she did. Mikka would find out what was going on, if only for the look Vincent had given her. She was sick of being dismissed.

Cael shook his head. "All I want is answers...and I'll get them at the meeting." With that, Cael started off towards the meeting hall. A little ways away, he stopped and turned to look at Vincent. "Thanks though," he said. Cael then renewed his walk.

Vincent nodded to acknowledge Cael's thanks had been heard. Then his eyes returned to their destination, opposed to the sky. Soon enough the two were right outside the Town Hall and Vincent reached out for the large brass door handles. The older warrior now pulled open the door all the way. Everyone else had already arrived, and it seemed they had been waiting for them.
It seemed odd for everyone to wait for just two random members, but that didn't really matter right now because they had finally arrived and some questions could be answered.
