Cate Aragona was not a happy being.
For one, knowing her semi-ward was gone was never a comforting thought. For a second, knowing he was in a human place was worse, because he was difficult to follow. Of course, Cate never stopped following, it was just more uncomfortable and the journey was a lot more disgruntling.
Checking herself in the mirror, she scowled. Her scarlet wings which normally protruded proudly from her lower spine were folded up, leaving her feeling remarkably cramped after pushing them under a black sweater. She'd decided that her red hair would probably be okay, even if it was a little too long, but the red eyes had had to go. A glamour, to make them green. She'd swapped her normal tight-fitted legwear for jeans, and had resigned herself to patent black boots to at least make her feel a little better.
Blowing her bangs out of her hair, she focused on Terry, only pausing briefly to make herself vanish at least for the first few moments of her arrival. She focused as hard as she could, and felt herself hit the pavement with a mostly silenced yell. She silently cursed her furled-up wings and glanced around. No Terry, but blood, and...
For a moment, she almost let panic take her as she saw Morrigan and Carlisle moving Terry towards the car. She knew her invisibility wouldn't last long with the energy she'd used to get here, of all places in the world. It didn't seem very nice.
She moved silently over to Morrigan and hissed in her ear, "Have you killed him?", hoping it was quiet enough to remain undetected by all by her.

Morrigan tried not to react and keep her face as neutral as possible when she heard Cate's voice. She didn't sound happy. But why should she be. Coming with her to Forks had been Terry's idea. He hadn't wanted her to go alone and Morrigan saw no reason for him not to come.
She wanted to snap at Cate for even suggesting that, but the fact that it was her own worry Morrigan couldn't say a word. Though if something did happen to terry, she would be happy in helping Cate attack the vampires.

Carlisle almost froze when he heard a disembodied voice. Instead, he quickly focused on what was at hand. He didn't have time to figure out who it belonged to, not with the boy's condition being what it was. "You're welcome," he said as he opened the back door. Gently, he laid the boy down in the backseat. "Get in," Carlisle said to the girl as he shut the door. He then got into the driver's seat.

"He was hit by car" Morrigan said hoping the vamp doc didn't think her mental for repeating what was already obivious. But she was saying it not for him but as an explination to Cate. "Where are we going, Doc?" she asked as she climbed into the front seat and immeditly rolled down the window so Cate could hear the anwser.

Carlisle started driving as soon as the girl got in the car. "There's a reservation not too far from here. I can help your brother more there than at the hospital." He sped down the road, towards La Push, noticing movement around him the closer he came.
Carlisle came to a stop, as if at some imaginary line. "Wait here," he said as he turned the car off. He then added, "I won't be long," as he got out of the car and walked out a ways before stopping.

"Fuck it," Cate muttered as she sputtered into existence and the car drove off into the night. She was drained; it took all of her energy to stay standing, gazing down the road that the car had left along and not having a clue where she was going, other than "There's a reservation", which is all she'd caught of the conversation in the car. She growled. This wasn't going to plan.
Even if she'd been back home, Cate doubted she would've had the energy to use her wings rather than her feet, but she was still pretty hacked off about it as she started walking down the road. Subtlety had never been her major feat, and now that she basically had no power until she'd slept for a while, she was decidedly worried about what to do next.
Not that she'd tell anyone that, of course.

Morrigan wasn't sure if Cate had heard vampire or not. He had taken off so fast. Now it seemed odd that he had stopped in the middle of no where.
"Terry, how are you doing do you want me to try numbing the pain more? Also, Cate followed us. But i think the doc left her in dust before she found out where we were going. " Morrigan explained turning around to look at Terry. She girmaced at how awful he looked. "Cate is soo going to kill me for this."

Terry looked back at Morrigan and tried to nod. He could only do it slightly, but what he did get sent another ripple of pain through him, followed by a throaty growl.

Carlisle stopped as he came face to face with Sam and Jacob. The former had a scowl on his face, the latter looking irritated, yet worried.
"What is this about an injured wolf, Carlisle?" Sam asked. "No one in my pack is injured, neither is anyone in Jacob's."
"Yes," Carlisle started solemnly, "he isn't from any of your packs...but he needs help. I could not think of anywhere else to take him. It would be much to dangerous to bring him to the hospital, nor would my family be able to control their thirst. He's seriously injured and needs help...I can't turn my back on him."

Morrigan muttered the spell once more, but now that they were actually doing something, she was able to focus. This time the spell was a lot more potent.
"Don't worry big brother, you'll get through this." Morrigan said with a small smile, proud she had done a good job this time. She turned back to look out the windshield for the vampire. seeing that he was just talking to two very large native americans, Morrigan honked the horn impatiently.

Despite the rough shape he felt he was in, Terry started to feel a lot better, pain wise. It was still there, but nowhere near as badly felt as earlier. The young wolf nodded and allowed a small smile to form across his lips.

Sam growled slowly at the horn, though his eyes remained on Carlisle. "Please," the doctor said again.
"Why here?" Sam questioned.
"I need people who can stand by while I take care of the wolf, people who are not drawn to the smell of his blood..." The doctor looked down before adding, "and if necessary, to put him down. I have no doubt my family would be capable of the latter...it is the former I'm worried about. The wolf's blood is very potent and may be too much for some of them to resist."
Silence past, with Sam in contemplation. "Fine," he said after a while. "Me and Jacob will head back to the reservation and set up a place for you." With that, Same took off running. Jacob followed shortly after.
"How's he doing?" Carlisle asked as he got back into his car. Without waiting for a response, he started speeding again.

"I think the pain is better, but Terry is a very fast healer, we need to help him fast." Morrigan said. "otherwise.... Look I don't want to have to hurt him again."

"He will be fine," Carlisle reassured the girl. As fast as he drove, it wasn't long until they arrived at their destination. As soon as he parked, Carlisle was already at the back passenger door, where the boy was and opened up. Gently, he picked the boy up in his arm. "Follow me," he said to Morrigan, quickly.

Morrigan wasn't as fast as the vampire, but that was to be expected. She followed as best she could. When she reached the door, it looked like the vamp was already working on Terry.
"How bad is it?" She asked a little afraid.

Carlisle looked the boy over with a careful eye. He was healing at a remarkable rate. The cuts have already closed, leaving just the blood. By now, it had started drying. He felt around the boy's body, ever so gently, looking for breaks. As he felt around the boy's ribs, he got a growl in response. "Easy, Terry," he said soothingly. "I'm just checking for any serious injuries."
"I'm fine," Terry growled. To illustrate the fact, He sat up...then immediately fell back onto the table, growling in pain.
"Easy there," Carlisle said as he placed a hand on his chest to keep him down. "You heal very fast, I'll give you that." He then took his free hand and ran his fingers across Terry's ribs. "But it looks like three of your ribs are fractured."

Morrigan moved closer to Terry.
"Terry, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Morrigan said feeling guilty about the spell landing them in the middle of the road. "I really screwed up." She felt better now that Terry didn't look so bad so before he could give her grief about his now fractured ribs, she thought she'd apologize and beat him to the punch.
