Hector watched his sister leave with a smile. That smile turned to a sigh as she disappeared from site. A growl from behind him brought his attention back to Achilles. He had gotten back on his feet, fists clenched. Seeing that he was intending to continue, Hector got ready to intercept his attack. Achilles charged...but immediately fell back on the ground, as if he had just ran into a brick wall.
A brick wall wasn't too far from the truth. There, in between the two rivals, stood a colossal figure. He was easily taller and bigger than any of the gathered students. Despite is rather large size, there was no obvious fat on him. The figure was all muscle.
Despite only seeing his back, Hector immediately recognized the figure. There was only one student in the whole school with that kind of build. "Ajax."
The boy turned his head slightly and gave an even more slight nodded. It was enough for him to acknowledge Hector's presence. He turned his attention back to Achilles just as the latter was getting off of the ground.
"Get out of my way," Achilles snarled.
"This is not the place, cousin," he said slowly.
As Ajax spoke, several of the faculty appeared to break up the crow. "Damn it," Hector muttered to himself.
OOC: In case it needs to be said, this is the greater Ajax that's being portrayed, not the lesser.

Helena frowned as they were directed towards their classes, pulling Menelaus with her as she did.
"Why do you think they fight so much?" she asked him as they went away, craning her neck back to look.
Menelaus shrugged, and Helena shook her head.
"No matter," she said, although still pondering it as she brushed a small piece of hair behind her ear.

“You two again,” Principal Pythagarus muttered as he laid eyes on both Hector and Achilles.
Great, now dad is sure to find out, Hector thought to himself.
“Don’t you ever give up?” Pythagarus asked, addressing Achilles.
“Not until he lies at my feet, groveling,” Achilles snarled.
“Perhaps you should consider your current record and rethink your position.” Achilles merely growled. “Enough,” Pythagarus said with a sigh. “Both of you go home for the day. If you stay any longer, you’ll both just get into another fight.”
“Yes sir,” both Hector and Achilles said in unison. Each was then escorted, separately, to different exits of the school grounds.
“That boy has so much potential,” Pythagarus murmured to himself. “It’s such a shame he only focuses his energy on the young prince.”

Cassandra heard that the principal had seen both Hector and Achilles. She knew she'd be walking home alone today. If she thought it would do any good, Cassandra would talk to her father on Hector's behalf, but nobody ever listened to her. So she didn't bother to wait at their usual spot that afternoon, and headed down the front steps of the school alone. She walked past all the kids she normally did, including Achilles' groupies waiting for him.
"He got sent home early." Cassandra said as she passed them without looking at them.

Rather than going straight home, Hector wandered the streets of Troy, taking in its sights. While it had an underworld to it, just like any other well established city, the city itself was relatively clean. There wasn't too much crime. Those that did happen were typically taken care of and justice delivered quickly. The streets themselves were often clean, with very little litter and other waste on the road or the sidewalks. All in all, it was a city that was taken good care of by the royal family and most of its citizens.
The walk did cheer him up somewhat, but not by a whole lot...note like it normally did. He was just so sick of Achilles, always getting into a fight with him and in trouble with his father. Hector loved this city more than anything and would gladly serve as its protector. He would even gladly lay down his life for it, yet that never seemed good enough for it.

Cassandra wasn't surprised that Hector wasn't home yet. He usually took walks when he needed cheering. She just hoped to find her father in a better mood than he had been this morning. Tentatively, Cassandra knocked on his office door.

"Come in," the king called. He was looking over a proposal from the council. This particular proposal was one of architecture. They were proposing a sculptor to be placed in the heart of the city. Many ideas for what kind of sculptor were present in the proposal. Among these were the sun god, the horse god, Hector, and other members of the royal family.

"Afternoon, Father. I'm certain my image is not on one of those." Cassandra stated looking at some of the sketches.

Priam smiled at his daughter. "I have not seen it yet, but that doesn't mean it is not there. Is there one you like among these?"

Cassandra was surprised that her father had asked her opinion and with a small smile walked over to his desk. Gazing down at some of the sketches, Cassandra shook her head.
"Not the horse," she said firmly. "Perhaps Hector. He won't like it, but the people will. He doesn't know it but they love him." Cassandra mentioned nothing of the sun god drawing, it reminded her too much of Apollo and knew that was a subject she didn't want to talk about with her father.

Priam folded his hands together, elbows propped on the table. "Perhaps you are right," he said. "The people would love it. I'll send it back to the architects. They may be the few that love it more than the rest of the citizens, since they will be the ones working on it."
King Priam put the sketches back into the folder and moved it to the side of his desk. "So daughter, what brings you here?"

Cassandra paused surprised that her father had taken her suggestion. It was almost like it had been before and that gave Cassandra a little more courage to broach the next subject with him.
"Hector, actually." Cassandra said before she could back down. "I wanted to ask you to go easy on him today. He really tried today and anything that happened wasn't his fault, with the exception of his tardiness."

The king's eyebrow raised as he listened. A frown crossed his face. "And what, exactly, has happened?"

"I think Hector would be better suited to answering that question." Cassandra said reluctantly. "But seeing that you would probably lose your temper with him if you waited, I shall tell you what I know so that you time to cool off before you confront him." She took a breath and looked at her father. A man who hadn't believed a word she had said. Her own father had thought she lied. But now in just these few minutes, he was trying. Cassandra wasn't certain how to take it, but secretly she hoped he would keep trying.
"He had another row with Achilles. Hector didn't start it. He only defended himself. and then me when I tried to get him to stop. Both of them were sent home early for fighting."

"I see." Priam sighed as he stood up. He walked over to the room's window, overlooking the city. "Achilles. So much potential wasted. He has been a thorn in Hector's side for far too long. This needs to end." He stood there silent for a moment. "Thank you, daughter, for informing me of this."
