Rogers didn't even bother to look at Miller. "The standard. Just enough to run a perimeter."

Davis stood up and went over to Miller, he leant over and pulled the biscuit from his mouth.
"If you're not happy with the time were going then simply don't come." He said and placed the biscuit back into his mouth.
"If there's no more vital information that can be given at this time I would like to begin making preparations to leave Sir."

Rogers hid a smile at Davis' actions. "As long as nobody has any questions you're dismissed. Be in hanger 3 in an hour. Miller, Stay seated!"

Miller gave a disgruntled look as the biscuit was taken and put back in his mouth. He began to chew it as Rogers spoke his last words. "Uh-oh" he said quietly.
Sarah left the room when they were dismissed with mixed emotions. Not only would she not get to try and break her speed record tomorrow but she had to spend the foreseeable future on a dangerous mission with Miller. She was too scared to say she didn't want to go, and she didn't really have much choice in it now. Instead she walked towards her dorm to get ready holding back her tears.

"Sir!" Natsumi saluted sharply, collected her cap and left for her quarters to change and gather her equipment for the mission. At least everyone else on this team were professional soldiers alongside whom she would be proud to serve.

Unlike any of the others, Paciencia did not have questions she thought to voice. She listened, nodding when necessary. Her head ran through possibilities of what to expect, but even the Major hadn’t sounded like he was 100% sure of the mission. She did not know what to expect from any of these comrades, but instead focussed on how to spend the next hour. Change into combat dress, visit to the armoury and then make her way to the hangar. She could even fit in some food considering she had missed lunch and there was bound to be some leftover slop that the cadets will have left.
She left the Major to deal with Miller. After a salute to Rogers, she began to walk down the corridor and prepare for what lied ahead.

Rogers closed the door and turned to stare at Miller. "Attention Private!"

Miller spat the biscuit out of his mouth and scrambled to his feet to solute, knocking the biscuits and his coffee all over the floor. The shouting voice of a Major always made him feel like he was about to die.

"When I ask you to turn up to a meeting I want you to turn up on time! And what the hell are you wearing?" He glared down at the Private's shirt. "Nobody wants to see that kind of crap ever again!" He paused for a few seconds before he continued. "You will firstly, clean up the biscuits you have dropped everywhere. Secondly you will go straight back to your room and you will remain there until it is time for the mission. You will not say a word to anybody unless it is 'Yes Sir' or 'Yes Ma'am'. Understood?"

"Yes, Sir." Miller said, disheartened.

Rogers stared. "If I hear your voice, once more, if anybody hear's your voice, then you will be a civilian. That is how close you are to being kicked out of the military." He stepped back and took a breath. "And clean up the coffee."
He turned and left, closing the door behind himself and leaving the man in the room. On his tablet he tuned in to the camera feed in the briefing room, watching and waiting for Miller to screw up. Again.

Once Rogers had left Miller kicked a table, "Ooh I'm gonna make you a civilian" he mocked in a high-pitched tone, using his hand to represent Major Rogers. He brandished his swearing fingers at the door.
He bent down and picked up the biscuits and, unable to find a bin, he returned them to the tea trolley. Whilst he was there he grabbed a tea towel and threw it on the coffee on the floor. He stood on the towel in an attempt to soak up the coffee. He picked up the now coffee-stained towel from the still-damp floor, scrunched it up and again returned it to the trolley. He wiped his hands on his shirt, picked up some more biscuits to shove in his pockets and left the room heading for his dorm.

Rogers watched the screen, one brow cocked. Miller had issues. That was for certain. But he didn't have the time to co-ordinate supplies and a shuttle down to the Earth's surface and replace Miller. The man had to come with. _________________________________
At 1345 Rogers stood in hanger 3, a tac vest on and a standard issue rifle in his hands. The shuttle had been loaded with emergency medical supplies and food rations. There was a few other bits of supplies, including extra ammunition and an emergency relay system in case the radio in the shuttle broke.
He waited for everybody else to turn hope, hoping that Miller was on time and that there was nothing too dangerous waiting for them.

Miller, having been a mixture of bored from being on his own in his room and from being scared at the possibility of being fired, was the first to turn up in hanger 3. He walked up to the Major, smartly dressed in his uniform, and saluted.

On time as instructed Natsumi, now in her usual uniform of black combat fatigues and standard-issue body armour bearing her rank chevrons arrived with her equipment: Standard issue rifle and pistol, and her more specialised set of combat knives along with a backpack containing her field kit.
"Sir!" She saluted Rogers as she approached the assembly area.
