"Not your fault Walker. We were mid evac." Sykes replied, ushering the prisoners forwards and out onto the concrete area between the now broken gates and the trucks, where the helicopters were landing to get them out of here. How hadn't the satellites caught the car though; they'd made sure to disable all the ones they came across, so it must have been hidden somewhere beforehand, otherwise they'd have known about it: "Get your team down here and loaded up. We're moving." he ordered, starting to load the prisoners onto the choppers.
The Section 20 men from the central room were also appearing now to evacuate. Just waiting on Johnson and Hobbs now.
__________
"Good eyes." Hobbs bent down to examine the trap; simple tripwire, hit the wire, pull the pins, and boom. Simple trap, simple to disarm, you just had to cut the tripwire at the door. Probably best not to leave it for the Chinese to set off, so Hobbs pulled his knife and neatly cut the wire, making the door safe to open: "Let's get going." he said, heading through the door, gun first, just in case.
__________
As the car sped through the gates and out onto the dirt road, the man in the suit looked up from the back seat to the driver: "Mr Grenn, we need to get to the airfield as quickly possible. Before they get the chance to come after us."
"Understood sir." Grenn pressed down on the acceleration and sped along the track.
_________
"Get those plates, track that car!" Emmerson ordered: "We need to find out where they're going, and get there first. I want whoever's in that vehicle."
He turned to his second in command: "Major, get me the Taiwanese authorities. We're going to need their co-operation a little longer." they'd already let them into the country for this operation, so a little extension of their stay shouldn't be too much of a stretch.

Frost stood by the helicopter whilst she waited for Team 2 to appear and load up. "Johnson get your ass on the damn chopper!" Moments later the man appeared behind Hobbs and she slapped the man on the back. "Great job, let's get out of here shall we?" she threw the last phrase to Sykes as she pulled herself up.

"yessir." Walker followed his commanding officer down the hill towards the choppers and started to load up.
--------
"I'll get a line through right away" Major Towers replied before going to get it organised. He didn't like how this mission was going; it looked like it was going to be straight forward but it never is.

'Just Johnson and Hobbs.' Sykes noted, and then the final two were there, loading up onto the choppers ready for dust off. One last check. Everyone aboard, prisoners secure: "Good work everyone!" he called out, getting into the chopper himself. As soon as he was aboard, they were up and away, pulling over the treeline and back to their base.
"ETA 15 minutes." one of the pilots informed them.
___________
Emmerson nodded and headed off into a private room, waiting for the connection to come through.
__________
"Mr Vasser." one of his assistants entered the room: "The shipment will be arriving soon; shall I have the car ready to take you down to the dock?"
"Yes." Vasser stood, straightening his tie: "No doubt they are on their way too?"
"We received the call. Mr Fyuki will be there to supervise transfer of the stock."
"Then let's move. Donovan is heading for the airfield in Taiwan. He should be joining us here in a few hours."

"Got a line, sir. Connecting you now." Major Towers spoke to Emmerson through his ear piece.

"Thank you Towers." Emmerson replied, then opened the call with the Taiwanese authorities, working to get further co-operation and extended stay within their borders; they'd go dark if they had to, but having co-operation made everyone's lives so much easier.
He had just about finished up organising everything when the helicopters carrying the field teams and prisoners landed back at base: "Get them inside." he ordered the guards, who hurried out to secure the prisoners for interrogation; the field teams would bring in any paperwork or data that they had secured.
"Major, with me in the main hub. Field teams just got back." he said into the earpiece, heading back now.
__________
The helicopters touched down and the ground teams piled out, handing the prisoners over to the guards for preparation: "Winters, Mason, get yourselves checked out at medical." he ordered, then looked to the others: "Right, let's get inside, see what we've got."
He started towards the building.
_________
The car had just pulled up inside the covered private docks, and Vasser and his four guards stepped out, into an area where shipping crates were being unloaded from a freighter, and a group of five men stood waiting for them; all were Japanese.
"Mr Fyuki." Vasser shook hands with the leader of the other group: "I trust that your journey was a pleasant one?" his French tones jovial, covering up concern.
Fyuki simply nodded, gesturing towards the crates being unloaded, leading them to one in particular, one that was entirely cubic, made of reinforced metal, with a slot for a passcard on the exterior. He held his hand out and Vasser handed him the card. He slid it into the reader and opened the crate, examining the cylinders stored within; there were 30 of them stored within.
"As I promised, you would get what you paid for." Vasser added.
"Our employer wishes to speak with you in person." Fyuki finally spoke, his voice was soft, but would entertain no argument: "This way." he gestured to the back room of the docks, as his own men stood so as to indicate Vasser's guards were not to follow.
Vasser didn't have much choice in following him.

Frost followed Sykes into the building, unclipping her helmet as she went and holding it by the straps as she went. The rifle remained in her other hand. "We staying or are we being kicked out?" She asked once her eyes landed on Emmerson.

"For now, we're reviewing what we got from the warehouse." Emmerson replied: "So you can relax for now." he gestured for them to assemble on the other side of the table once they had dumped their equipment in the armoury nearby.
Sykes nodded to Emmerson and Towers, then placed his helmet, rifle and body armour on the table in the armoury. He kept the belt with the pistol and knife on as usual however, then headed to the table to assess what they had learned and what was their next move.
__________
"Mr Vasser." the woman spoke as Fyuki lead him into the back room, closing the door behind them; she two was Japanese, slender and pale, just about Vasser's height, her long black hair falling behind her back in long waves. Her hands were behind her back as she looked at him from behind the desk: "Please, sit down."
It wasn't really an offer, so he sat down in front of the desk: "Is there a problem?" he asked her.
"Indeed." she fixed her eyes fully on him: "Our agreement was for everything in the warehouse. You attempted to sell the final articles to another party. Your sale was discovered."
"If I might-"
"To interrupt is considered very disrespectful, Mr Vasser." she continued on: "Your actions have brought this operation under the threat of scrutiny. If your mistake is not contained, it could jeopardise my operation. You are now a loose end to be tied up. This could have gone very smoothly if you had stuck to the deal. We have no more to talk about."
"But if-" he was cut off as the woman brought her hands around, holding the Katana, and took his head off in a clean swing, as the shots rang out from outside, taking out his men.
"Get the canisters ready to move." the woman started to clean the sword: "And have the weapons distributed. We're going to have to move fast, before Section 20 finds out Vasser is linked to us."
Fyuki nodded, and bowed, making for the door.
"Send someone to greet Vasser's man when he arrives." she said, as he was leaving.

Frost deposited everything but her sidearm and knife and rejoined the men at the table. She wanted to know what was going to happen next. What they'd been able to find out from their little scourge of the warehouse and who had left and where they were going. So many questions and she wanted to know the answers.

"Here's what we have." Emmerson began: "Four prisoners on their way into interrogation. We'll be speaking to them shortly." he told them: "We have a sheaf of papers from the meeting; they're being looked over as we speak. The plates of the vans have been traced to a legitimate haulage firm. We hacked their records, simple hire by the men present, we got photo id's used in the hire. Sloppy stuff for arms traders." he brought up the image of the car that had gotten away: "We have the full co-operation of the Taiwanese authorities, they have police out looking for the car. It shouldn't get past their roadblocks, so I'll want you ready to move at a moment's notice to pick them up. For now, we're working on the interrogations, which will be starting in a few minutes." he finished, studying his team.

"So," Frost said. "Until we have answers we just sit around and wait? I mean, doesn't sound like we have much to do right?"

"We have less than we were hoping for. For now." Emmerson had to admit: "But once we talk to our guests, we should be able to find out exactly what Vasser was trying to sell them. Once that car is found, we'll be able to ascertain what happened to the majority of the warehouse stock." he explained: "This is our most promising man." he pulled up a file of one of the prisoners: "Andreas Perez. Chilean drug baron. Most likely looking to equip his gang. The other prisoners, all members of radical groups. We'll crack them later, but right now, the fastest one to break should be Perez, since he's not the type, nor has any record of links to any radical groups. Just a brutal man who smuggles drugs. He'll talk more easily than the rest." he took a step back from the table: "Sykes, Frost, Walker, you're with me, we're going to have a little chat with Mr Perez. The more intimidated he is, the faster he cracks. Major Towers, keep watching for any news of that car." he began to lead the way from the table.

Frost nodded and followed behind Emmerson and Sykes to the interrogation room. He noticed Walker looking a little out of his depth and leaned over to him, "Don't worry about it. Everyone takes a while to get settled in. For example, Sykes did nothing but irritate me the moment I joined. Now? Now we're very good friends. So where'd you transfer from then?"

"I was doing my sniper training in Canada. I haven't even qualified yet, got pulled out when I had 2 weeks left." It still confused him why they hadn't let him finish. What was so urgent?

Frost nodded. "Well, you must be a hell of a shot. And they must've seen something in you to transfer you out two weeks before you finished." They followed Emmerson through a series of doors. "I was transferred from Delta Force a couple of years back. Tell you something Section 20 is definitely something different." There was a smile to her face as she spoke. She had enjoyed Section 20. All the fun of being in the military without all of the rules and laws keeping her under control all of the time. There was a little leeway at least.
