Frost chuckled and followed Sykes through the door into the room. She found a filing cabinet to crouch behind and nodded. "Sometimes I'm feeling lucky." Her eyes found the sideroom he'd mentioned and she moved forward to the edges of the corridor.
_______
Johnson quirked one brow and held his hand in front of him. "Ladies first."

Walker had been assigned to team 3 for this mission. His first mission as part of section 20. He hadn't asked for it he had just been recruited, every day he asks himself why he is there; he doesn't feel up to the standard of the rest of them. But now wasn't a time for wondering.
He peered down the sight of his rifle which was aimed at an entrance to the building where they were loading trucks. Waiting for someone to come through it and for him to be given the signal to kill.
Then someone did, a man stepped through the door and suddenly Walker felt as though the world was in slow motion. He was given the signal. He held his breath as he steadied his gun and fired. It hit a barrel next to the target. The man looked round as Walker readied his rifle as quickly as he could and fired again, this time shooting him through the skull. Walker took a deep breath before signalling through "target down" to his commanding officer. He told them he wasn't ready for this.

"Why do I always get a bad feeling when you say that?" Sykes tested the door; it opened easily, and he moved in, gun sweeping the angles: "Clear. Cleaner's cupboard." he said, moving up to the main doors, when he head the shots, and then Walker over the comms. Well, that answered that question; there was definitely someone on the other side.
"Team 3. Keep those trucks from moving. We're heading into the loading bay now, so watch your targets." he looked to Frost: "Okay, here we go." he moved through the end doors, seeing the cowering group of four men in suits and the five other guards wondering what the hell had just shot them.
He took another one of them down with a quick burst, then took cover and made sure he was giving Frost covering fire to get a good position. Team 3 had the high ground to make sure that no-one was getting away from them.
__________
"Wanker." Hobbs smiled and shook his head as he lead the way carefully through the door. The corridor beyond had one large door at the far end, and some scattered crates along the length for cover. The mercenary at the far end, having just about finished the trap but had not yet left, opened fire on them: "Ah shit!" Hobbs, dived behind one of the crates and started to fire back: "One contact, far end!"

She chuckled. "Because I also have bad luck at the worst of times?" She had cleared the side room with ease and rejoined Sykes on the main corridor. Then there were a couple of shots and she moved her pace.
Then Sykes was going through the door. She followed, swinging her gun around to the first target that she saw. Two quick bursts dropped two men from a group of five and she took cover too.
In her ear she spoke, "Hey Walker!" her eyes found the body with a bullet in the head and she smiled. "Nice shot." The guy was still new, still getting used to Section 20 and the guy was a nervous wreck half the time. "Think you got anymore good shots left in you?"
____
Johnson shook his head with a grin. The childish banter kept them moving and kept them calm and easy. He followed Hobbs through the door, gun raised high. They moved into a corridor and Johnson had to duck to avoid the heavy burst of bullets. He ducked behind a crate and turned his back to it to see Hobbs firing back. "Got you," he said and he turned, took two deep breaths, moved around the bottom corner of the crate and let off a single burst of bullets.

"Yes ma'am, thank-you ma'am!" He replied in a haste, relieved that she didn't pull him up on the first shot. He wondered what she was suggesting by that question; what would be his next order? He felt the marksman patch on his arm; he worked so hard to get it, always top of his squad for best shot, he couldn't mess up now.

Two left. One made a dash for cover and Sykes took him out mid run: "Changing!" he called to Frost so she could cover him whilst he reloaded. The final guard was already in a good position, and laid down a strong curtain of fire at the Section 20 Operatives up against him.
"My turn for the good feeling." Sykes glanced up at the final man's position; too good from his and Frost's approach, but from Walker's vantage point: "Walker, you should have a clear shot on the last man from where you are. He's yours."
__________
"Why the hell's he still here?" Hobbs fired several bursts at the mercenary by the door: "This'll take too long with that cover he's got." he called to Johnson, taking out a flashbang grenade and showing the other man his intentions: "On three!" he readied the grenade.

Johnson nodded, pulled back around the corner and closed his eyes and covered his ears.
_______
Frost fired off a burst of bullets as Sykes reloaded. Then Skyes was firing again. But it wasn't worthwhile. The guy was too well covered up. "Changing!" She changed clips, reloaded and turned her gun around the corner of her cover. "Come on Walker," she muttered. "Take the shot."

Walker closed his left eye as he stared down the site, barely breathing as he concentrated on his shot. It wasn't clear with so many other things in the way. The target had stopped and crouched. He needed him to move. His finger was on the trigger, waiting.
C'mon you son of a bitch.
There. He moved and Walker took his shot almost instantly, leaving the target to collapse on the floor. Walker collapsed backwards to lie on the floor and breathe deeply, his palms covered in sweat.
"Target down." He spoke through his microphone.

Sykes made sure to keep Frost covered whilst she reloaded, then ducked back down to wait for Walker to take the shot. There it was a few moments later and the man fell with a thud.
On cue, Sykes was up again, sweeping the area; no more guards now. Not here at least. He looked behind the cover at the last fallen man: "Good shooting Walker. Clean headshot." he said into the comms; a little more confidence was all that man needed to get rid of the new guy feel, and he'd be easily the best field sniper in the unit "Command, East side clear. Securing prisoners." it didn't take more than a swift gesture for the men in the suits to collapse whimpering ready to be cuffed after what they'd seen: "Frost, help me get these guys ready for transport." he moved over and began to cuff the buyers: "Son of a bitch Frost. I owe you that beer." he smiled, seeing that neither Vasser nor his known associates were amongst these men.
__________
"One...Two...Three!" Hobbs called, lobbing the grenade down the hall then covering his ears and ducking back down. A moment later, the bang sounded, and the ringing and flare that accompanied it set off: "Go!" he moved out of the cover, weapon raised, towards the stumbling man at the far end.
__________
"Colonel, new contacts." one of the techs brought up a satellite image.
"Shit!" Emmerson cursed loudly: "How far away?"
"10 minutes out sir."
"Sykes, speed things up. You need to grab what you can and get ready to dust off; Someone tipped off the Chinese authorities!" he looked back to the technical staff: "Get those damn helicopters inside that perimeter now!" he ordered.

Frost pulled plastic ties from her pockets as she kicked men over onto their stomachs and tie their hands. A smirk was wide on her face. "Damn straight. Hey Walker! Remind me to buy you a beer. Excellent shooting. You put Sykes to shame with that eye." And she winked to Sykes.
Then the message came through about the government. "Fuck!" She moved along the line of men and had them up and moving to stand in a group near to an open space. "Team 2 final sweeps then prep to leave! Copters are inbound and so are the governmet. Move."
_____
Johnson took a moment to steady himself after the bang and was able to get up and followed behind Hobbs just a moment later.

A smile spread across Walker's face as he listened to the messages coming through his comms. Until the message about the government. Walker scrambled to his feet and assembled with the rest of his team awaiting the helicopters.

"You cheeky Sod!" Sykes grinned back at Frost, cuffing the last man and hoisting him up; he was about to say something else when the call about the Chinese came over the comms: "Ah, Fuck! Team 1, grab what you have and get the hell out!" he ordered: "Right, you lot, up!" he motioned to the prisoners, who started to struggle up to their feet, just as the screech of a car sounded behind them, swerving past the trucks towards the main gate: "Walker! Car heading for the gate; take out the driver!" it was too far away from him and Frost unless they could stop it.
"Frost, you ready? We're going after that once it stops." he readied his rifle, and moved forwards again.
__________
"Bollocks!" Hobbs reached the man, and shot him; guards were expendable: "We need to get out." he looked at the merc: "See anything?" he asked Johnson; that man had to be there for a reason.

"Shit!" Walker exclaimed as he set up his rifle as quickly as possible. He began to aim but he couldn't get a clear shot in time and the car got away. "Sorry sir, target got away." He kicked the wall in anger.

"Let it go," Frost told Walker. She let her gun fall to her side and moved back to the group of men she and Sykes had cuffed. "Let's just worry about getting these guys onto the chopper okay?"
___
Johnson let his eyes turn around the area for several seconds. Nothing seemed out of place. Nothing seemed particular. Then he spotted it. A trip wire. "Explosives." he pointed to the pack pressed against the wall and attached to the trip wire.

"Okay" Walker forced himself to reply. Though it wasn't okay. The car got away because of him. He'd let them all down.
