Okay so, I'm starting this again because there has been 40 pages with almost little plotline happening. You can keep the same characters but the same rules apply. If you really wish to you may change your character. When’s it set: Before the movie!! Your main character should have no affiliation with the main characters from Firefly – only in passing – like on Higgins moon (The Hero of Canton, the man they call Jayne) or maybe wanted posters and things like that. In terms of where characters are; the main plot will happen on the ship VALHALLA, feel free to be on this ship from the beginning, some of you can be planetside or on a different ship and later join up with the rest of the people. Map o’ the verse: www.fireflyfans.net/bluesunimages/F1CDC2E117C4D816979AF3E3EC90F6FF.gifDescription of said planets: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Firefly_planets_and_moonsMore planet info: rpgmulitverse.proboards.com/index....ge=1#1326587419If you want to use Chinese references then go for it. The ship is called Valhalla again and now, let's begin, again.
Morgan stared at the docking station terminal that the Valhalla was occupying. "The hell?" There was a message, letting him know that it was on landlock until a routine inspection had been carried out. The box of spare parts, for both him and the pilot, in his hands started to grow heavy and he decided to heft it inside before he dropped it. He sat it down just inside of the cargo bay and clicked the comm, "Hey Cap? We got a problem, Alliance are doin' a search of the ship. 'pparently it's routine. Want me ta check on the hidden goods?" The 'goods' were in reference to the illegal shipment of stolen Alliance weapons they were transporting out to Greenleaf. The people of Ariel weren't too keen on the idea of their own weapons slipping past their noses he guessed.

Complete with everything he'd picked up from the markets and shops of the City, and with his annual Companion Evaluation completed for the coming year, Cyrus returned to ship, having taken care of everything he'd needed to whilst they were on the Planet. As he approached the ship, he spotted Morgan ahead of him entering the cargo bay. He continued after him, entering the ship a few moments later.
Cyrus paused for a moment inside the cargo bay, placing his bags down on a nearby crate before turning to the mechanic: "Get everything you needed?" he asked him, then heard what the other was saying into the comms: "Problems Morgan?"

Morgan turned to the companion with a grimace. "Alliance got us docked for a search." He let his eyes pass over the crowd outside of the cargo bay. He sure as hell hoped the Alliance weren't close yet. "You 'member that job we had here?" Morgan glanced back to the companion. "We got the goods alright." After a moment he checked the Companion up and down with a frown. "Ya sure ya had no clients here? You been gone an awful long time."

"Oh yes..." Cyrus raised an eyebrow: "I remember..." he replied, leaning back against the crate where his bags rested: "The Captain's intentions to bring certain illicit goods to Greenleaf? That's just our luck isn't it? You have the supplies on board and the Alliance is performing searches..." he then rolled his eyes at the mechanic's other comment: "For the last time Morgan, I told you, it was the yearly evaluation. They take time. Then I had to pick up a few things..." he told him: "And as I have also told you, if I were to have a client, it is not my policy to discuss any details therein..."

"Pfft," Morgan muttered with a smirk. "One day Cy', one day you'll tell me sumat about your clients." He turned back to the comms and said again, "Hey Cap? You there?" When there was a moment of silence he turned back to Cyrus. "Do the hospital tell you you're good for sex? That you ain't infected or nothin'?"

Lin thundered down the metal stairs over the cargo bay, for the last length choosing to lift her feet and let her grip on the banisters slide her down to land on her heavy boots with a thud, crossing the bay over to Morgan and Cyrus at a speed remarkable for a woman of such small stature.
She had decided this was easier than responding on the comms, though it probably wasn't, but that was just the kind of person Lin was. And right now she had an almost frighteningly stormy expression on her face.
"Nothin's routine where Alliance are concerned. I need to know if there's been a single broadcast matching our description linked to anything ilicit so we can know what to hide. I can't wait for the others to get back, I'll go do it myself. Is the shipment in a Firefly standard hiding nook or one you've carved out yourself, Morgan? Because if it's anything but invisible to all but your twisted eye, it needs moving."
She ran a hand raggedly through her hair, drawing her stray locks away from her face and making the scar that jagged across her face even more prominent in her fixed expression. This had clearly gotten to her, and the idea of losing her shipment and facing death appeared to be only now realised by the haphazard Captain.

There had been a lot of noise in the cargo bay since more of the crew had returned. She could hear them through the grate of the hidden compartment she had stuffed herself into. It wasn't the first time she had hidden on board what was clearly a less the reputable ship and she doubted it would be the last.
It had been about an hour since she had crept aboard the firefly class transport. There had been no one in sight the cargo bay had been open. She hadn't known why and hadn't cared. All that mattered was that the dock log she had hacked said they were due to head off world today. What it hadn't mentioned was the new information she had just overheard. Landlocked. It couldn't be because of her. She had left her mother passed out in their suite, completely intoxicated by the best wine tasting the Core had to offer. Trick was her mother hadn't spit it out after tasting it. It was not possible that her mother would know she was gone until the morning. Not this time anyway.
With a mental sigh, she held on to her rucksack even tighter and prayed not to be found.

"Check up on the bridge, that's where we find that out. The Alliance ain't all that forthcoming on docking stations Cap." Morgan ignored any look the woman would give him and moved to pick up the box of parts again. "Goods are hidden good an' proper. An' it ain't like you know where ma hidin' places are." He offered the woman a smirk and gave Cyrus a nod and moved towards the engine room to unload his parts. At least now he could fix a few broken circuits, panelling and pipes properly. So many times he'd had to make do with 'iffy' jobs that would do until they had proper materials. He dropped down into the engine room dumped the box of stuff and decided to recheck the goods, just to make sure.

A company of alliance troopers flanked their officer as he strolled through the dockyard calling out for various ships to be searched. At his call the troopers stormed each ship in turn and upended anything that wasn't bolted to the deck. After several transports were evicted and searched, people began to grow frustrated. No-one dared act out since a pair of Gunships had arrived and patrolled the sky around the docks.
"I want this one gutted!" he yelled and the troopers obediently set about tearing the Orion class cruiser, something it's captain was not keen on. The burly man hurled himself at the officer who was orchestrating his ships destruction. He was rewarded with a knife chop to the throat and a bullet in the knee. The officer in question didn't even blink as he called for a medic and a pair of handcuffs.

Deryn shifted her position again, trying not to make a sound. Which was proving difficult considering she was surrounded by metal. But her foot had fallen asleep and if there was a chance she had to run, she had to wake it up. As a result, she did accidentally hit one of the panels as she twisted her foot around. Deryn froze and held her breath. Old ships always made the odd bang or creak now and again. She just had to let them think it was only that and nothing more. Then perhaps they wouldn't investigate.
The last thing the blue-eyed, blonde 17-year-old runaway needed was the alliance scanning her ident card. If that happened, they would have to drag her out by long loose curly hair, before she would go silently. But what choice did she have? Her mother wouldn't let her enter flight academy, or any other career that could satisfy the need for adventure her father had instilled in her. It upset her beyond belief, especially since she was terribly clever and various schools of all manner were courting her. So here she was, the daughter of the late General Sharp, hiding on a smugglers ship just to escape the core. The one place in the verse everyone always wanted to be, she did not.

Lin stormed up to the flight deck, taking no care where she stomped as she slammed the door behind her and sat herself in the pilot's seat, swinging it round to the holodeck and beginning to scroll haphazardly through alliance reports, frowning as she did. She clicked the pilot communicator on and sighed before saying,
"Okay, if you have a previous Alliance conviction that I somehow don't know about - lookin' at you suspiciously, Morgan - then make yourself scarce, sharpish. Cyrus, I need you at the gorram front door like a welcomin' committee for this. You're the only Alliance-friendly thing I got."

Hearing the captain leave for the bridge, made Deryn breath easier. But with the announcement that someone would be covering doors, she knew she would have to be quick. Basically her plan was to duck off the ship, wait until the Alliance cleared it and jump back on at the last second.
As carefully as she could, Deryn removed the panel hiding her and slowly climbed out. She turned her back to the rest of the ship as she bent to pick up her rucksack. Deryn slipped it over her head and shoulder as she turned back around to survey her best escape route.

Morgan smirked at the Cap's comment over the comms. Rolling through his past convictions in his mind, he found himself chuckling at more than a few of them. He hopped down the stairs, mouth still grinning from past thoughts, and found his eyes straying to the open cargo bay door.
A movement in the corner of his eye had him frowning as a girl jumped up from underneath a panel in the floor. Returning footsteps to a quiet pace, he stepped across the open room until he was behind her before he said, with arms folded across his chest, "Looks like we got ourselves a stowaway!"

Deryn physically jumped in surprise and let out a startled yelp. She turned around, her blonde curly ponytail swinging as she did. Her eyes were as wide as saucers as she took one look at the man who had found her.
'What was he thinking?' she wondered, about seeing that she wasn't dressed cheaply. A nice pair of slacks, wrinkled from hiding, a silk blouse and knee length, light, gray coat had been the easiest to travel in when she left.
"I... i...." she stuttered. Deryn glanced around nervously. It was time to find another ship. Instead of answering his accusation, Deryn darted for the open cargo bay, running as fast as she could.

The girls clothes didn't go amiss to the mechanic. Nobody wearing those kinds of clothes, when they could be nothing even like it, would go crawling around in the underbelly of a ship. Ever. When she made a dash for the open door way he jumped and because of his height advantage, it didn't take much to snatch the neck of her coat, "Come here," he muttered. "Cy! Tell Cap we got a stow away aboard!"
