Morrigan rubbed her sore butt and glared up at Cate.
"And i suppose I'm cut glass." she muttered.

Terry quickly got to his feet, growling. Though back in human form, his rage still roared within him. "I'm fine," he growled.

"Lovely," smirked Cate. "I opened all the exits, but I don't know what more we can do... And you'd be stupid to try and fight it again."

Terry growled as he shoved his hands into his jean pockets. "I would've killed that thing, if it weren't for all those screaming humans," he said with a snarl.

"Ah yes, screaming humans are awful, aren't they? I prefer my humans nice and silent." Cate dragged the last three words out, hissing the last one in Terry's ear with a large smirk.

Terry moved away from Cate quickly and turned to face her. "Whore," he muttered with a snarl.

Cate giggled. "You know you enjoy it really," she said, giving him a slightly patronising little smile. She half-fluttered her wings, and stretched a long, catlike stretch. "Besides, nature is as nature does, one would suppose." She yawned, and looked again to the burning building that had the remnants of the crowd scrabbling away.
"Dying doesn't make you a hero Terry, makes you more like mincemeat. Exactly why I am not recommending going back in that building. Can if you like, but it is, on the whole, not recommended," she added the last bit quickly, hoping her tone gave away the nonchalance she'd been intending to mask her 'suggestion' in.

"Whatever," Terry muttered with a slight snarl. He turned away from the succubus and walked over towards Morrigan. "Here," he said softly as he offered her a helping hand.

"Thanks," Morrigan said taking the offered hand and getting to her feet. "And thanks for saving me." she added. "So does this mean you'll stop doing those stupid fights?"

Terry grinned. "That, I can't promise," he said. "My blood burns when a potentially good challenge arises."

"You should see someone about that. Apparently burning sensations normally indicate something that needs checking," cut in Cate with a smirk, still fluttering her wings on and off, as if she needed to stretch them.

Terry's grin was replaced with a snarl. "Shut up," he snarled as he turned to look at Cate again.

Cate sighed melodramatically. "If you so wish, little one, I shall find my own way for a while. I'm hungry anyway, and apparently I'm not allowed," she surrounded the last two words with air quotes, "to drug you and use you as.. sustinence, my pretty one." She smiled at him in an "Aww" typical fashion, scrunching up her nose.
"Don't get into too much trouble whilst I'm gone, little one," she said, winking at him and waving her fingers.

"Why does she always ignore me?" Morrigan said annoyed. "Anyway where do you think that thing came from?"

"I don't know," Terry replied. "It wasn't like any ghoul or undead I've ever seen before."
