19. Fanfiction
Kakashi glanced towards Iruka once them went back to reading what was on the computer, chuckling. “What are you laughing at?” Iruka asked, looking up from the Papers he was grading. “Nothing. Just reading… something on the internet.” He said quickly minimising the window he had open. Iruka put his pen down and glared at him. “The only time you chuckle like that is when you’re reading that damn novel or you’re thing of something just as perverted. So saying ‘nothing’ really doesn’t mean anything.” Iruka stood up and walked behind him, reached for his hand that was on the mouse and made him click the window that was open, “Fanfiction.net?” he muttered seeing the logo. He began to read the story that was on the screen. His face turning red. Kakashi dropped his mask and kissed his red cheeks, “You’re cute when you blush ‘Ruka. Maybe I should show you what they write about us on AdultFanfiction.net.” Iruka’s face turned a deeper shade of red, which got another chuckle from the silver hair Jounin.

7. Masked
An ANBU. That’s what I used to be. An unknown shinobi hidden behind a mask. All your identity was forgotten the moment the porcelain face covered your own. Even though you didn’t know your comrades or your self, it still hurt. A mission goes wrong, then rumours of a death spread round the city. “No one knows how he died.” “They say it was an accident at home.” Lies. Lies created to cover up an ANBU’s mistake. Elite shinobi don’t make mistakes. I’ll never know who’s getting killed until I hear the rumours. It’s horrible to think that you can’t tell who is dying even when it’s right in front of your eyes. That’s why I quit, I couldn’t take it anymore so I left them, became myself once more. I never knew at the time how much of a mistake that was. It was a bodyguard mission for the ANBU I just happened to see them as I walked past. I wished I hadn’t. I saw something that made my heart shatter. A familiar hairstyle. A familiar figure that I’d run my fingers over countless times. My own lover stood there with the mask covering his face. I grabbed his arm and turned him round, hoping to get a glimpse of his hazel eyes behind the mask. “Kakashi-sensei?” He muttered, “Is something wrong?” “Damn right there’s something wrong. What the hell are you doing?” I hissed anger boiling in my veins “I’m sorry Kakashi-sensei. I’ve got a mission to do.” “Don’t turn away from me! Why? Tell me why you’re doing this.” “Kakashi-sensei, I’m sor…” “Quit it! You’ve not called me Sensei in 5 years. That mask. The ANBU. How can they make you want to forget about me? Do you even know how hard being an ANBU is?” “Yes I do. But I’m sorry Kakashi-sensei I’m busy.” “Iruka!” I brought my fist round and put all my force into smashing the mask over his face. The porcelain smashed and fell to our feet. Wide brown eyes were focused on me, a small slither of blood trickling from a new cut on his cheek. “Why?” Iruka’s eyes lowered, “When… when you left I had to join up. I’ve been working with them since then.” I couldn’t believe my ears, the moment I left they signed up my lover. Guilt washed over me. All those things I didn’t want to experience myself, I ended up forcing onto the person I care most about. “Iruka.” I dropped my eyes and embraced him, “I’m sorry. I’m so selfish.” I pulled my mask down and kissed the bleeding cut. “I’m sorry. It’s all my fault.” The Chuunin ANBU pulled back and kissed my lips. “You baka. I took the job so you’d never have to go back. I love you too Kakashi.” He leant up and captured my lips in his own, in an engaging kiss.

29. Home time
Iruka’s eyes shifted around the classroom. Something wasn’t right. Quickly he marked the rest of the students work and put them in his desk. He glanced up again, someone was here, but he couldn’t see whoever it was. “Who’s there?” he called expecting one of his students to walk out from behind desk, but nothing happened. He walked around the classroom, but it looked empty. Letting out a sigh he shook it off as paranoia and turned back round. The room slowly filling with mist greeted him. And then a smiling face coming just inches away from his own. The person’s eyes were covered up in happiness, one of the eyes marked by a vertical scar. A pair of amused lips curled up. Lips that were usually covered by a blue mask. The teacher’s face dropped in disapproval, “Kakashi. What are you doing here?” “It’s home time Iruka. I’ve come to pick you up from school.” Kakashi replied the grin growing wider. “It’s very good that you stayed behind to do work but there are people at home who what to see you.” Iruka sweat dropped and pushed Kakashi’s forehead. “Enough of your games Kakashi. I’ve still got to clear this place up after the kids.” “I’ll do it.” Kakashi quickly replied, running round picking up all the pieces of rubbish the students have left. Iruka sighed and glanced to the window, slowly, and eyebrow rising as he did. He quickly turned back to Kakashi and noticed that he was without a mask or his hitai-ate. “Kakashi where’s your mask?” “I’m not wearing it.” He replied smiling. “Why?” Iruka said back. “Because.” Kakashi said turning away. “Kakashi.” Iruka walked forward, only to be caught but the Jounin. “You really want to know?” Kakashi asked smiling, “I wanted to give you this.” Kakashi grabbed both of Iruka’s wrists and leaned into kiss him. Iruka turned his head away and looked to the window again. “Kakashi we can’t there’s…” “I know. Lets give them quite a show huh Iruka-sensei.” Dispite Iruka’s best effots he was trapped by the Jounin. Meanwhile outside of the window a small bunch of Iruka’s students watched and gasped.

11. Fluffy
The small kitten crept silent and stealthily into the room. She had managed to get inside the house with ease, and now the small black kitten was walking over a strangely patterned floor. There were lots of squares in a chequered pattern and the surface was cold against her paws. The smell of recently cooked food filled the air. She jumped up onto a chair then onto the table. There used to be food on the table, the kitten could smell it, but it was no longer here. The kitten sniffed the surface of the table and let out a small mew. She looked around and stretched out, ready to jump onto the counter. She lept across and only just made it on the smooth surface of the wooden counter. She was tracking the smell of the food. She eventually got to the sink, although the kitten didn’t realise that. She could smell the lingering smell of food on the plates inside the sink, submerged in clear water. She padded closer to the edge of the sink, however the side of the sink was wet. The kitten’s paw slipped on the wet surface and she ended up falling into the water left in the sink. The plates in the sink made a loud banging sound as she fell. The kitten meowed loudly, she didn’t like the water. Her fur was getting wet and she just wanted to get out of it. She meowed loudly again and again, until she heard a voice from a nearby room. “Iruka. Go see who’s in the kitchen. It’s probably one of your students,” a lazy voice stated. The kitten wasn’t able to understand what was said, but she recognised it to be human. “It’s probably Naruto coming to tell you that he managed to do that task you set this morning,” another voice said. The kitten thought that this voice sounded different slightly, but it was still human, and it was coming closer. She meowed again hoping to get it’s attention. The human came in and looked around. He spotted the kitten in the sink and quickly pulled her out. “Oh you poor thing,” he said to her. Grabbing a towel and wiping her down till she was dry. She looked up at the man with wipe amber eyes. He had long brown hair to his shoulders and gentle eyes. There was also a mark that run from one side of his face to another. He reached into the fridge and pulled out a bottle of milk. He lay a tray down and poured in the milk. The kitten bounced over to the milk and began to lap it up joyfully. The human laughed and began to run his hand softly down her black fur. Kitten liked this man, she decided. “Iruka? What’s wrong?” asked a voice coming into the kitchen from the same door the kitten looked up at the new human and backed up slightly. “Sssshhh. It’s okay Kitten,” the nice man told the kitten. Although kitten didn’t understand, she saw the soft face of the nice man, and stepped forward and watched the new man intently. “It’s a cat,” the new man muttered. He had silver hair and a mark running over one of his oddly coloured eyes Kitten decided there and then that she didn’t like this man, his eyes scared her. She ran to the nice man and lay down. “Oh don’t be cruel Kakashi. You’ll scare her.” “It’s a cat.” The nice man walked up to the scary man and rested there foreheads against each other. The nice man pressed his lips gently against the scary man’s, and they both smiled. The kitten ran upto the nice man and tried jumping up his leg. She stood on her hind paws, with her front paws against the nice man’s leg. He laughed slightly and knelt down to pick up the kitten, “Let me keep her. Please Kakashi, you’ve got your dogs.” “I guess.” The scary man said. The nice man reached down and picked up the small kitten. The silver haired man went to kiss the nice man again but kitten hissed slightly, jumping up onto his shoulders and wrapping round underneath the nice man’s brown hair. “She better not be getting jealous” the scary man leaned in towards the black kitten’s face, “He’s mine kitten.” The black cat went to lash out with her claws but the scary man moved back in time “Viscous rat,” he muttered, “What are you going to call her?” “I think Luna is a nice name.” “Really. Looks more like an evil ball of fluff to me. That makes it a Fluffy.”

4. Rose thorn
“Iruka? What are you doing up here?” Kakashi asked, jumping a couple of storeys of a random house in the village. There was a beautiful Japanese roof garden atop it. A beautiful terrace along one side, with climbing plants covering it. Small pots scattered around the edges all of them filled with beautiful plants. A small fountain was running in the centre of the roof, with a rose bush all around it’s edge. The academy teacher was kneeling beside the rose bush with a pair of cutters. “I’m busy at the moment Kakashi,” he said not looking away from the bush. He took dead twigs from the plant. “Wow. This place is amazing. Whose garden is this?” Kakashi asked, pulling his mask down and running his hand under the fountain. Iruka looked up slowly and smiled, “It’s mine. I got the space above Genma’s home ages ago. He said he never came up here. So I could have my garden here. I would have had it above our apartment but the roof is slanted.” “I never even knew you liked gardening.” “I don’t to be honest. But when it gives me something to do when I’m not grading papers or doing missions. Besides during the spring this is a gorgeous place just to sit and relax,” Iruka said gently. Kakashi knelt down behind Iruka and wrapped his arms around Iruka. “This is a whole new side to you. A side I’ve never seen before. You’re ever the more beautiful because of it.” He whispered into the Chuunin’s ear, before kissing his cheek. He reached out for one of the bright red flowers on the rose bush in front of them. He went to cup one of the flowers in his hand but was caught by one of the rose thorns. “Ow,” Kakashi muttered, pulling his hand away. Iruka took hold of Kakashi’s hand and kissed the cut gently, “better?” he asked. Kakashi nodded. “You can copy over 1000 jutsu yet you end up getting cut by a simple rose thorn.” Iruka cut the rose just above the thorn and handed the blossom to Kakashi, who was still kneeling down behind him. “You have to be aware of where the thorns are at all times.” He glanced over his shoulder and smiled, “Just like you. Every rose has its thorn.”

((Woah it’s a miracle I’m actually posting more stories… lol… This actually was going to be written as a Saiyuki story but It fitted KakaIru too. 484 words))
8. Dealt the cards
Iruka lay down another winning hand. “I won again Kakashi,” he said grinning, “Are you sure you don’t want to quit whilst you’re still wearing clothes.” Iruka grinned. He knew that Kakashi only did this to see him without his clothes, but when it came to card games he had unbeatable luck. Iruka was still wearing all of his clothes Kakashi only had on his trousers and underwear. The chuunin had thought many times to call it quits so not to embarrass the poor jounin, but he had made a comment that there was only one why to get his clothes off and that was in the bed. Iruka was planning to prove him wrong. “How have you won every hand? This isn’t right… Have you been cheating?” kakashi asked with a raised eyebrow. Iruka frowned. “No I haven’t been cheating. I just play Poker really well.” His eyes flashed slightly. “I only have to win two more times and you wont be wearing anything Kakashi are you sure you don’t want to quit?” “No chance. I will win one hand.” He said determined. Kakashi dealt the cards and glanced at his hand, he smiled widely. Iruka glanced at his hand he had 2 pairs, his eyes shifted to Kakashi to was smiling. “We’ll play for all the clothes. If I win you’re to remove all your clothes… If you win I will remove all my clothes.” Iruka’s eyes widened. ‘That’s brave… I wonder if he’s got a really good hand, can I risk it?’ Iruka glanced to him, the mask had gone a while ago and there was a smile on his lips. His own brown eyes flashed in confusion. He looked again at his two pairs and sighed laying them face down on the table. “I fold,” he said finally. When Kakashi’s grin grew wider, Iruka knew that something wasn’t right and that maybe he shouldn’t have folded. Kakashi threw down his cards, 2 of clubs, king of diamonds, jack of spades and the 4 and 7 of hearts. Iruka’s hand rose to his face and he stared up at Kakashi. “So Iru-chan… What are we going to do about those clothes of yours?” Kakashi stood up and walked round the back of Iruka, “well Iru-chan?” Iruka turned round to look over his shoulder, “Kakashi, how about I just give you that kiss you wanted?” he said shyly. “I’m not sure… Kiss me and we’ll see.” Kakashi kissed his lips gently and began to loosen the headband around Iruka’s forhead. Once the head band was off it fell to the floor. They pulled away and Kakashi smiled, “I’m still not so sure let me kiss you again.” This time Kakashi removed Iruka’s hairband that held his hair in his tight ponytail, and his green chuunin jacket. “Kakashi!” Iruka cried when he noticed what he was doing. “Only a few more kisses Iruka.”
