- Paragraphs.
- Interacting with people that interact with you. Please don't just by-pass people and do your own thing.
- ":" <- These do not lead onto speech. They are for lists: apples, bananas, oranges, pears and tangerines.
- "If the sentence inside speech marks ends with a full stop." The first letter outside of these speech marks becomes a capital letter.
- "If the sentence inside the speech mark ends with a comma," then the first letter outside of these speech marks becomes a lower case letter.
- Full stops at the end of paragraphs or speech are forgotten at times. This is painful for everyone when it is noticed
- Remember people, your characters don't know anything about other characters. They can make accurate/inaccurate guesses based upon how their character thinks and acts, but they are blind to the knowledge of what other people hold. Please bear this in mind when you write.
- Too, many commas, makes it a little clunky, to read, and not to mention, having an entire paragraph, of almost four lines, become one, big, long ass sentence, is unnecessary. Full stops, can take the place, of many of the commas. Be mindful.
For now this is all. If there are any other basic mistakes many people make I will add it to the list.
