Skygge couldn't help but smile at the girl in front of him. "There are legends that speak of a place, far to the north. I imagine you have heard of these legends..." He paused for a moment before finishing, "Thalaria."
OOC: I don't really have much of an idea of what the legends ought to say...probably should've thought about that. Anyway, I'm just going to post some lyrics from the song here, everything related to Thalaria in the song, and let everyone get their own idea about it based on the lyrics (like I did for this whole thing) and post...but lets try and keep it in line with what the first person to post about it has started.
Over mountains, hills and valleys He could reach his heaven The dark land of Thalaria Real enchanct of north

Kayleh coughed and nearly choked on her ale. She had heard of Thalaria. In fact Pan had mentioned it to her just the other day. It was also a place her mother had mentioned to her when she was a little girl. They were her bedtime stories before the night of her brutal death. Most people didn't truly believe in such a place. But Kayleh knew it existed. She forced herself to swallow and forced her face to a mildly interested expression.
"Thalaria. And you believe you know how to get there? Most people say that all it is, a myth, a legend." Kayleh tried to be nonchalant about the whole thing but her heart couldn't stop beating. If this man knew how to get to Thalaria.... well all she could do was sit there and hope.

"I have reason to believe otherwise," Skygge replied. He caught her earlier reaction and narrowed his eyes at her. Again, he wondered if this girl was friend or foe.

This was her chance and Kayleh wasn't about to miss it. She leaned closer, her face now deadly serious. Lowering her voice so only the man in black could hear her, in fact she focused so much on just him hearing that she could have shouted and he still would have been the only one to hear, Kayleh spoke,
"Take me with you."

Skygge stared hard at the girl before him. "Give me a reason."

Kayleh glanced around quickly and saw that no one was even acting like they were there.
"Look, I can help you. I can do things other people can't. Its hard to explain, but I can ... talk to things. Things that aren't human. Animals, plants, ...fey." Kayleh had to be honest with this man. She needed him to take her to Thalaria and if that meant telling him her secret, then so be it.

Skygge thought for a moment. "An interesting talent, lass...but how does that help me?"

"You can't honestly say you know exactly whats out there. No one does. And if the legends are to be believed, I'm sure you're going to have dealings with more than just humans. So unless you plan on hacking your way up north, then you are going to need a translator." Kayleh finished off her ale with a last swig and looked straight at the man in black. She pushed her chair back and stood. "Think about it" she whispered as she walked by him.
Once she had disappeared to the back, the old man turned to the man in black.
"Now thats sumt'in' you don't see every day. Kayleh drinkin' an entire tankard an' not sayin' word."

Skygge ignored the man. Instead, he focused on what the girl had said. Maybe her aid would help him. He shook his head. He didn't want her involved in his search for vengeance. Only the gods knew of what dangers Thalaria could pose.

Kayleh's heart was beating a mile a minute as she hurried up to her room. Pan needed to know about the man in black and about Thalaria. She could only hope Nowe was asleep.
The door didn't creak as she opened it to peer inside. With relief as her eyes fell on the figure in the corner, Kayleh crept inside careful not to wake the lad. Though she did give Pan a disapproving scowl when she found him on the bed.
"You could have given him the bed" She whispered. The brown tabby merely blinked as if to say that he didn't care. The night wore on with excited whispers between woman and cat to the point where Kayleh fell asleep on the bed fully clothed, the tabby curled up in her arms.

As the patrons started to clear out, most to their homes a few to the rooms above, Sven made his way over to the Man in Black. He dropped a key on the table in front of him.
"Room 7 upstairs" was all he said before going back to his clean up routine.

((Wap? that line confused me "She could only hope Nowe wap."))
Nowe had been drifting in an out of sleep. Somewhere between them times he realised that the girl had returned and had fallen asleep. He gave a soft smile before closing his eyes once again. 'I'll rest for the night and continue woth my journey again tomorrow. The furthest i can get from the Knights the better.' he thought as he fell into a deeper sleep, somewhat relived that he was no longer along with that cat.

((She could only hope Nowe was aslepp. oops fixed it))
Pan was the first to rise in the morning. He was careful not to wake either human as he made his way out of the room. The entire inn was silent as the sun had yet to peak over the hills. The scent in the air led him to his destination. If cats could grin, this one was as he laid down in front of room 7 and waited.

Kayleh rolled over on the pallet and found a new comfortable spot all without opening her eye. Her body did not what to get up yet. So dispite the fact she needed to rise to help with breakfast, Kayleh slept on.

((thank you ^_^))
Nowe woke from the sun as it's early shine shone through the window onto his face. He tried to turn his head to escape the glare of the sun but with little success. He quietly moved his shield and sword to the side and stood up, his limbs aching from wearing half plate armor over the night. As quietly as he could, he started removing the armor from his arms. Once relieved of the weight he stretched his arms and rubbed the soreness from his shoulders. Nowe turned to the bed, seeing that the cat had left, to his relief, and the girl was still fast asleep in her bed. He walked over to the window and stood there like he had done the night before. This time the streets were a little empty compared to last night, but like last night people were walking up and down the street getting where they wanted to go.

The movement and the sun seemed to demand that Kayleh wake from her dreams. She rubbed her eyes free of the last dregs of sleep that clung to her lashes. Her eyes opened and silently she watched Nowe at the window for a while. Her thoughts on how to get the man in black to take her along. If worse came to worse, then she'd simply follow him. Finally sitting up, Kayleh broke the silence,
"Sorry you had to sleep on the floor. Pan can be quite fickle."

Skygge nodded his thanks as he took the key. He went up to his room and laid his sword by the bed, but didn't sleep right away. Instead he thought over what the girl had told him. He debated on whether or not he should take her. Even if she weren't a spy, he did not want to risk her life in his campaign against his father...but if he really did need help. The debate raged on his mind for hours til he finally fell asleep.
***
The sun's rays shone brightly down on Skygge, causing him to wake. He sat up in his bed and looked out of the window briefly. He stoop up and grabbed his sword, attching the sheath to his back. His head was down as he walked. As he opened the door, he was surprised to see a cat directly in his path.
