"Maam" Sophena spoke in Elven, hurrying to her mistress's side "I managed to contact him personally through the usual channel; he is currently at the city of Keltha, working with the regional council of mages. He says that since we will pass through the city to ressuply in three days time he can either meet us there or ride out now to meet us; if he rides now he will reach us by noon tomorrow."

Ilona sighed and seemed to contemplate before nodding.
"We will meet him in Keltha... but it will take us less than three days. Make sure he is ready to leave.. We cannot wait for anything."

"I shall inform him. I'll also have him arrange for fresh horses; we can make it in a day and a half, provided we only stop once for a very short time to eat ouselves and feed and water the horses, also provided that we ride at a full gallop. Then replace the horses. We'll have to stay the night at Keltha at any rate; we need supplies and we'll desparately need the rest after this journey

Ilona nodded and turned to her group - within a second, her eyes had breezed over Lissa and were on Conall and Sylta.
"I'm going to hope you've both ridden before, and can ride for as long as necessary - we must be in Keltha very soon," she said, and she winced as Sylta paled.
"I take it you haven't?" she said, and Sylta shook her head a little. Ilona spoke quickly, thinking on her feet.
"I'll tether you to me, and I'll lead both. We haven't got the time to teach you. And you?" she raised her eyebrows at Conall.

"Excellent" Said Sophena, turning to Conall, Sylta and Lissa; "We should reach the city by noon of the second day of riding; we will be seeking shelter there as well as re-supplying. Any questions?"

Lissa stayed quiet as she walked with the group, glancing to Conall every couple of minutes. Her blue eyes would thin slightly before she looked down to her feet, her hand not once leaving the hilt of her sword. Walking a little ahead of the demon and stopping close to Sophena, "I have my own horse which i shall ride. He does me well and shall ride quick." She looked to Sophena and muttered in a hushed voice. "But first pray tell, why is it that we have certain members with us in our group; even allowed to walk freely in the Emperor's streets." She shifted her cloaked shield on her back slightly, her hand tightening around the hilt of her sword, and her eyes looking to the side as if trying to look at the demon behind her.
((Wasn't sure if Conall was demon or just half demon... lemme know kay?))

((he's full demon))
conall watched the woman move ahead, hearing her whispered words. like everyone else in the world, she was judging him on where he was from, not from who he was. conall was innocent, and was even a good person, always trying to help others. "for your information, miss, i am an innocent, my past clear of any and all wrong doings. i am even a vegitarian, can't even think of killing a poor animal to feed myself. the empire has cleared me knowing my past, allowing me to roam freely, as long as i stay my path." he said loudly. "miss sophena,i am sorry, but i must go get my horse, i shall see you on the edge of town in a few minutes." and with that, he walked away, saying no more.

"If he doesn't come back, you officially have double responsibility," Ilona said to Lissa, not turning to watch the discourse and instead shaking her head. She had been nervous of hiring a demon, it was true. But she didn't have the time to worry, so whilst she knew he wasn't evil, he could be in the group. Sylta struggled to keep up with the group, easily the shortest in the group, taking large strides and little jogs to follow after Ilona.

"I'll go and talk to him maam" Sophena said, slightly concerned "I'll meet you back at the horses in a few moments" She bowed and hurried after Conall

Catching up to him, Sophena spoke softly: "I'm sorry for all of this; most of us just aren't used to demons in Kindara. My mistress and I know you are not evil, but it make take time for some of the group to realise this." She placed a hand on his shoulder; "I appologise if i seemed wary at first; just the training I suppose. But tell me, how long have you been away from Delgran?; I seem to remeber seeing someone like you a good few years back, seeking refuge here"

He pulled his mask and cloak up tightly as he watched the group break up, presumably heading for their horses. So far he'd counted a Demon, Human, Shape shifter and the two Elves. The elves could be a problem if they're imperial he thought as he ran across the rooftops to follow them.
The demon, he supposed, was the guest of the empire, being in imperial territory with his steed and all he must be special in some way, and he does fit with the rumors
As for the shape shifter, he'd been following her for a while now. Not often you find one of those beauties
The human he wasn't sure about, judging from the attire he'd say she was a cleric or someone holy
Suddenly he stopped dead in his tracks and pulled his black cloak tighter, as his deep blue, green feral eyes widened and he cursed "ah crap" just noticing they were heading for the horses he'd just sold. He grabbed his bag of gold and sprinted ahead, hoping he wasn't too late, Maybe i can buy 'em back before they notice

conall's steps slowed, so that Sophena may walk beside him. "i left home when i was but 7. my father had taken me on my first raid into the empires territory. until then, i had not known what killing was, didn't even know meat came from live beasts. when we got to a village, i saw the destruction that had already followed before my father and i. i was mortified. at once, i left my father, refusing to follow in his footsteps, fleeing into guard hands. they were on their way to stop my father's killing spree when they caught me. they were to kill me, when a cleric saw my soul was clean. she took me in her custody and saved my life. i got the imperial pass years later, and have lived here and there ever since," he said. "i have faced prejudice all my life, and get angered by it. i am sorry for my outburst before."

"Think nothing of it; I'm sure the others will come to trust you soon" Sophena said soothingly. She suddenly stopped dead in her tracks; "Conall, don't move" Senses alert, her eyes darted around until she spotted the black cloaked figure sprinting along the roof-tops: "YOU UP THERE!" She shouted, drawing her sword "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?!" She lept with incredible grace towards a wall and swiftly climbed the drainpipe, chasing the figure, contacting Ilona mentally as she went; "Maam, we may have a problem, on the rooftops, be careful!"

"ah double frak!" he cursed as he heard her shouts and footsteps, and possibly a hint of magic though he couldn't be sure. Not many options, stay and let her take me, run and hope to lose her ... or maybe ... He reached into his cloak and pulled out a small piece of parchment and a black quill. No time for ink or neatness but it'll have to do he pressed the bladed tip of the quill into his arm and scribbled a note on the parchment:
'Sorry 'bout the horses, here's the gold for 'em and the dealers name 'Ernie Blackfoot'. You'll find him at a small inn near the edge of town by now. Again sorry 'bout this'
He tied the tiny note to the pouch containing the gold and dropped it behind him, hoping his pursuer would notice and grab it, before turning sharply and making for the nearby tree's, his arm dripping blood behind him
