"For now, my dear, you should rest."
The cabin was quite simple inside. There was a fireplace at the back, over which a broth was indeed simmering; a worktable covered in herbs with shelves surrounding it covered in vials and paper bags. To the left lay several straw beds and a large window, in the centre of the room was a large table with 6 chairs, and to the right a more well-built bed with a cat sleeping upon it. Thea walked to the broth over the fireplace and crushed the herbs she had picked using her palms, allowing them to then fall into the broth. She stirred it, and then removed it from the fire. She looked to Rose kindly and gestured to the table with her other hand. "Sit, please."

"ummmm..... Who is there?" Nicolas said nervously. "What do you want?" Uncertain of the person being friend or foe he began to walk away from the voice.

"Wait," The voice said. "We can help each other. You help me out of these chains and I can help you out of this dungeon."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rose sat obediently, not knowing anything else to do. The broth smelled heavenly and Rose drank in the scent.
"Thank you again. I.. I really don't know what I'm going to do or where I'm going." She started to say. As a grumbling came from her stomach, Rose blushed the color of her name.
"What...are you kidding me? How am I supposed to do that? Why should I trust you? Who are you?" Nicolas was not sure what was going on. He want to get out but even if he did what good would it do because Lord Arkanian would surely come after him.
"Then your situation as a guest here is certainly not unusual," said Thea with a smile. She fetched a wooden bowl and spoon and poured some of the broth into into it, placing it in front of Rose.
"Now eat, she spoke, "As your stomach seems very certain it's necessary."
"Name's Fawx" The voice said. "And you don't have much of choice in helping me, because without my help, you'll just rot away down here. Or in better scenario, you'll be put back under Arkanian's control and waste away while he drains any drop of magick you ever had. Your choice. But personally, I think you have a better chance with me on your side."
Rose dug into the broth like it was the most amazing meal she had ever eaten. Soon the bowl was empty and Rose blushed at how fast she had finished it.
"Uh... Thank you. It was very good. You seem to know alot. I was wondering if I could ask you a question?" Rose said her mind wandering back to the night before.
"What's your plan? What will happen if I set you free? Maybe I wouldn't mind just rotting here? For all I know you might try to kill me if I set you free?" said Nicolas pretending to be braver then he really is.
"Feel free, my dear," spoke Thea. She had picked up a half-finished basket and begun to weave, but looked up to speak to Rose, "I will endeavour to tell you everything I know."
"Lord Arkanian... is there anyone who knows how to stop him?" Rose asked hesitantly.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"You don't really, but if you don't help me I'll sit here and bother you until you go crazy. Since you will be condemning us to a lifetime together." Fawx said. "Your choice. All I need is for you to pick the locks on my chains and then I poof us out of here."

Thea stopped weaving, and placed the basket down.
"That, my dear, is a complex question," she said, as softly as she could. "And I am not sure if the answer I have is the answer you would like."

"But you have an answer?" Rose asked hopefully. She thought of Harry's last words to her and the look on his face. She had to squeeze her eyes closed in order to banish the image.

"Oi, Fawx, leave the snivling git alone. He's obviously none too bright if he's never heard 'o the mighty Fawx and Findor, his equally as powerful brother even if he is often swept by the wayside," Findor grumbled to himself, caught up in his familiar rant of the oft forgotten younger brother. "But no matter, we have no need of 'im cause just as soon as I'm free I'll be the one to rescue us, and for once get some recognition. Iffen I was born just a minute sooner I'd be the one everyone loved..." Findor continued to grumble as he struggled with his bonds in the darkness of the dungeon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I know this hasn't been posted on in a while but hopefully it'll revive the story It's too good of a story to be left alone

A wooden cabin! Garellia had been wandering for so long, she'd been seeking shelter for so long. Her insomniac nature only heightened the effort of the forest walk, lack of sleep draining her of energy. She'd left only with her satchel of water, a handful of coppers and pieces of stale bread. Home abuse had gotten the best of her, with malicious acts forced upon her by her father, and she'd known it to be time to escape. Her poor background and now her homeless state had left her with a life of misery, and the past fortnight of wandering for shelter had proven to take its toll.
Garellia had mousy brown hair, placed in a ponytail for convenience. Her glittering green eyes appeared to be full of youth and energy, which was true considering her to only just've turned a teenager in the spring. Her stubby nose and small lips applied a child-like youth to her still, and her cheeks were rosy red. Her body was stained in dirt, filth and muck, She wore nothing more than a pair of ragtag linen shorts with a huge rip upon one side and something which resembled a sack with a few holes upon it as a make-shift shirt. Her feet were bare, plastered with cuts and bruises, and her short body was almost completely mottled after the abuse.
Hope filled her. This cottage, one only imagined in dreams, her escapism. She grabbed a handful of berries, scoffing them with glee as she ran with tears in her eyes to the wooden cottage
"Shut up, you'll do it or else!" her father yelled
She edged over a patch of daffodils, edging closer
"Please! No! OW!" she screamed.
Ignoring the horrible memories, she carried forth.
"Never. Your mine!" the voice horribly snarled
The memories got the best, and inches from the door, she fainted, landing in a heap outside the cabin.

Thea opened her mouth to respond to Rose's question when she stood suddenly, hearing the thud outside. She held a hand up, as if to signal Rose not to question her. She went, very swiftly, to the door and pulled it back open, her expression softening when she saw Gariella.
She glanced around for Odie, but she was nowhere to be seen.
"Rose," she called, though not over-loud, into the house, "Would you be able to assist me over here? I have some.. moderately heavy lifting."

Rose jumped to her feet to help. Though she herself wasn't as strong as she usually was, Rose managed to get an arm under the girl and drag her inside.
