Morgan smiled politely at the doctor, "Thanks pretty lady." He ruffled her hair again with a small chuckle and took the package out of her hands and tucked it in his folded arms as he turned back to the Companion. "Can't? Or won't?" A smirk lifted the corners of his mouth. "Come on, a hint, numbers? Sizes? How long? Number of rounds? Were any of them screamers? Moaners?"

"Oi, boys you know we can hear you" Deryn shouted down the corridor from the bridge. She smiled as she watched Santo come into view through the large windows in front of her.

"I said nothing!" Cyrus called to her: "Morgan's the one lowering the tone out here..." he paused: "Actually, I'm not sure that that's even close to what he's doing but I can't think of something else to describe it..." he looked back to Morgan: "Your sense of humour is disgusting, you do know that right?"

"Stop ruffling my hair it's irritating, Or next time I won't stop June trying to kill you" Lily smiled brightly as well as innocently. "Also stop pushing Cyrus for information you know he can't divulge, that's like asking me for medical information about people, when it's patient confidentiality." Lily turned and gave a wave, still smiling, and headed back up to the bridge, taking her food back form her sister and returned to eating it.

June scowled at Morgan, muttering 'pig' under her breath. Ignoring him and the degrading coversation, untill killing Morgan was mentioned. "Oh what was that?" she said sounding genuinly interested for the first time in days, "Kill Morgan? Please." Her fingers brushed the handle of one of her pistols, and a evil smile graced her lips.

"I said no shooting things." Deryn commented. "besides we still need him for at least another 20 minutes." she said checking how far they were from Santo.

"You woulda told me at some point," Morgan said with a grin. "'Sides, ain't my fault you ain't got no funny bone." He laughed and slapped the Companion on his back. "Eavesdroppin's wrong Dey!" he shouted before he left the hall to make his way to the cargo bay. The last cargo run they'd done had caused one of the mules' whole system to rupture and turn it into nothing more than a fancy oversized paperweight.
Someone, he guessed either Lin or June, had caused a bullet or two to enter the electrical system and the wiring underneath. He'd been given the awful job to try to attempt to fix the damage that the bullets caused when they ripped through the mule.

Lily would giggle at the brief conversation between Jun and Deryn. "It was a threat Junie, you can shoot him..unless he insits on ruffling my hair that is, then you can do it, 'kay Jieh?" She smiled brightly

"Okay I'll shoot him when we land, Maybe we can pick up a new Mechanic on Santo. One that isn't such a pig," She commented, "Mei mei, your no fun." June grabbed Deryn's chair to help her stand and left the bridge, "I'm gonna take a quick nap before we land." She waved at everyone, scowled at Morgan and smirked at Cyrus and gave Lily a quick brush on the shoulder before heading to their shared Room.

"you don't have much time" Deryn called after June. She picked up the hand set again and said,
"Ladies, gentleman and pig. This is your friendly neighborhood pilot, Deryn Sanders speaking. We will be entering Santo's atmo in about ten minutes. Please ignore any screaming or praying you hear coming from the bridge/ have a nice day." with that she winked at Lily and turned back to the viewport. "you'll want to watch this. Nothing like it in the verse."

Lily would put her hand over June's briefly. "Have a nice nap" taking the seat her sister had not long vacated she smiled at Deryn, soon giggling at her announcement. "I'll take your word on it" She would turn her smiling face onto the view to watch.

June collapsed face first onto her bed, and closed her eyes. She knew she wouldn't actually manage to get a nap, Atmo re-entry wasn't the smoothest ride in the universe. She yawned and curled up a bit on her bed, wrapping her arms around her; she knew what was coming, and it was the one part she hated about being on a ship, not that she'd let anyone else know that.

Morgan put the small medical kit in the engine room and grabbed his tool belt. Ten minutes until they hit atmo gave him enough time to get a quick idea on how bad the damage was and what he'd be needing that he didn't already have. His list of supplies had already included some of the basics he knew he'd need; wiring, circuitry, covering and even some control parts. How'd they managed to mangle the control panel was any wonder.
With a sigh, he decided to take the basic panelling off in order to get a look underneath, that took him five minutes and his next five were spent inspecting the insides of the engine and wiring. Curses flowed freely at the amount of damage done to the mule. "One bang up job," he muttered and decided to throw his tools down and grab a jacket, some creds and his list ready for when they hit dirt.

Lin growled and sat up on her bed, having heard silence for some time. She stood and crossed her small cabin, opening the infrequently used door. She preferred to swing in via the porthole from the main deck above, but she couldn't even imagine Cyrus doing that without smirking in a mean way.
"You would think that you'd get bored of just loitering waiting for an answer," said said darkly to him, shaking her head. "What can I do you for? I ask those on my terms, rather than yours." A very subtle hint of a smile crossed Lin's face.
Lin stood wedged in the doorway, as if protecting her room from Cyrus's view. If truth be told, Lin could have a dungeon in there and no one would no about it for the effort she put into keeping it private and out of view. Hell, one time she even repaired a basic electrical fault herself to save having to share her haven with Morgan.

The entire ship lurched as the Valhalla broke through the atmosphere of the border planet of Santo. Deryn held the steering column as steady as she could, but even the most skilled pilots wouldn't manage a smooth entry in a ship that was falling apart like Lin's was.
"Wah-hoo!" Deryn exclaimed as the planets surface came closer into view and steering column fought her every step of the way. Finally, the bumping and jerking of the ship calmed. With a wide grin, Deryn leveled her out and lazily landed in port. "Good girl" she said caressing the console. With a laugh, Deryn made another announcement.
"Thank you for flying and not dying. Remember to choose Valhalla for all your interplanetary needs."
