Angel twiched. "RIGHT, THIS GOES FOR ALL OF YOU! IF EVERYONE WANTS TO PLAY DRESS UP AND SAVE THE CAPTAIN... SOMEONE TELL ME!" she sighed, and slouching down against the ship side. "You! Get my sails billowing. You! Find me a compass! And YOU! Get my rum!" she said, pointing at various pirates who scrambled to obey her instructions as she groaned and leant over the side of the Sea Valkyrie, gazing at the waves. "You know Jack, one of these days, they're actually gonna finish their hanging ceremony on me."

"Not as long as I'm breathing, Captain." Jack said with a laugh. "Oi, Slim, can I have my affects back , if you'd be so kind."

Angel laughed almost sadly as she was handed a bottle of rum. SHe took a long swig from it, but continued staring into the sea. "I owe the hangman my head 8 times over. And the moment they've finally gotten me for good might be the moment I finally realise I wasted my life on whoring, drinking and piracy. Ah well! No-one mourns the wicked. Not even the wicked themselves!" Angel laughed and pulled herself away from the side, making her way across the ship to retrieve her sword.

Angel grinned too, but clutched tighter to her bottle of rum. "There's the storeroom. Get your own," she said, laughing slightly as she placed her sword and pistol back in her belt. "Why aren't we moving at the speed of light? GET A MOVE ON!" she hollered, making pirates scramble to obey yet again.

Slim went off to the store room and took a bottle of rum laughing as he came back remembering the look on the hangmans face when faced with a member of the inquistion.

I would mourn the wicked. Jack thought as he watched Angel. He started to arm himself. Jack, you fool, you should just find a new comission and ship. But Jack knew he could never do that. If he couldn't have Angel, he would settle for following her to the ends of the earth and back.
Jack grabbed the bottle from Slim, took a swig and handed it back. His eyes never left his captain.

"'Twas a nice shot yer made there Jack cuttin the rope an all even if'n it weren't exactly necessary 'twas still a mighty fine shot Jack mi lad, you'll be wantin' to be marksman as well as first mate soon by the look o' it" Slim drawled before taking a hearty swig o' 'is rum.

"I mean cuttin a angin rope wi a musket bullet, why mustnt be one man in a hundred could make that shot Jack, that's it Captin we should av a shootin match jack an ships marksman for some sort o prize, I mean Jacks was a mighty fine shot an all Captin only fair to let im show is skill.
Next time we both go to rescue someone lets talk first eh Jack ?"
Slim drank a little more of his rum whilst thinking how bestto set up a shooting challenge he was sure Jack could win now and planned to wager heavily on him

"I have to agree with ya on that. But I'm not gettin in on some pissin' contest over who the best shot is. I was merely doing my job, which I am quite happy to keep thank ye very much." Jack said. "Now if you'll excuse me, Slim. I need to plot a coarse with the Captin."

:Nowhere near the escaping Pirates.
"Now Lietenant, this insult to the crown cannot go unpunished. The king is most distressed that we have been unable to quell the uprising of piracy in our waters."
The young redhaired man did not show any reaction to the governor's statment. As always he was a perfect example of high bred Military bearing.
"You come with great reccomandations from your former commanding officer. And your experience in the Colonies against the savages will be quite useful. Now you know what is at stake here our very reputations."
"I understand Milord. Is there any group in particular that eliminating would be more symbolic than others?"
The fat man rubbed sweaty palms together "I suppose you heard about the recent botched execution earlier."
Davis nodded.
"This group has been troublesome as of late. If you could bring them in again, well Let us say, it would be a career making descision."
~~ The conversation with the governor left the young officer slightly queasy as he made his way down to the docks, Dodging beggars and Pickpockets on the way. More than one time he cuffed a brat who had tried to reach into his pockets for some treasure.
"Mr. Savage.. muster them men.. we go underway on the morrow."

Slim grinned, many was the mate who would like to plot a course with the Captin, she was too good for the likes of him he thought as he took another swig from the bottle he was nursing before heading down to the trunk at the foot of his bunk, he didn't quite feel dressed without his dirk but it had looked out of place of the portly priest he had so recently been playing. He strapped the plain leather scabbard back to its rightful place on his belt then hefted his meat cleaver and wandered down to the galley to see what he could rustle up for this motley crew.

"As far away from England as I can get," said Angel simply, still distracted by her compass. "Hopefully we'll come across a treasure ship on the way... Why, do you have one in mind?"
